🍒CHERRY RED CLAY CLEANSING BALM🍒
This cleansing balm is based on the previous formulation for my patrons but I made a few changes and it came out even better.
What are the changes you ask? Let's take a look.
1. Substitution - LotionPro 165 for Olivem 1000
2. Less clay
3. Adding Dimethicone to improve the slip and spreadability of the final product.
4. Less Dermofeel Viscolid to make the balm lighter.
This balm makes a lovely makeup remover, it glides and slips beautifully, making yous kin not only clean but also moisturized.
Dermofeel Viscolid is our star because it creates oily gels. Only 5% of this ingredient thickens your oils to a soft gel texture and 10% creates very thick textures. Dermofeel Viscolid is natural and palm free. You will find a file in the Attachments down below (patrons only) with more details, tips, and tricks on how to introduce this ingredient in your formulations.
Rosehip Seed Oil and Red Clay add a nice color to the balm as well as skin moisturizing and cleansing properties. Rosehip seed oil is rich in Vitamin A and Vitamin E.
The bulk of the formulation consists of lightweight, fast-absorbing sunflower oil. On top of that this emollient is rich in vitamin E and linoleic acid which help your skin to stay fresh and moisturized.
I also included versatile Mango butter. The main chemical constituents of Mango Butter are Oleic Acid, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Linoleic Acid, Arachidic Acid, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E.
Olivem 1000 is a natural compliant emulsifier known for its accessibility and affordable price. It creates silky emulsions with a luxurious skin feel. In an anhydrous product, this emulsifier helps to turn oils and butters into a lotion-like product when applied to wet skin.
Cetiol® RLF (INCI - Caprylyl-Caprylate/Caprate) is approved by COSMOS, NATRUE, ECOCERT, BDIH, and NPA. It is a fast-spreading, feather-light emollient that can be used in all kinds of formulations including baby and sensitive skin products.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a double boiler melt the oil phase (A).
2. Mix together the B phase.
3. Once the oil phase A is completely melted (about 70-75 С), homogenize it for 1 minute.
4. Add the b phase to the oil phase. Stir to combine.
5. Once the product cools down to 40 С then add the cool down phase С and mix until homogenous.
How to Use
Massage into the face and rinse off with warm water or a damp cloth. Follow with a toner, or if necessary with a water-based cleanser.
