Lavender Bath Truffle Scoops
Bath Truffle is a beautiful addition to your bath spa experience. It combines the fizzing reaction of a bath bomb, moisturizing and nourishing properties of a bath melt, and the foaming and bubbling action of a bubble bar. I love how these truffle scoops make my skin feel and the scent is so relaxing!

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Weigh your butter and carefully melt them in a double boiler or microwave. I always use the double boiler method.
2. While the butter is melting you can weigh and mix your dry ingredients. You can add lakes or micas to your dry mixture.
3. Once your butter has melted through you can add your fragrance oil and Polysorbate 80. I added a little Blue and Acid Red water-soluble dye powders to my wet ingredients and mixed them with my little hand mixer. You can skip this step if you use lakes.
4. Add your wet ingredients into your dry mix, stir with a spatula or a spoon until everything is well incorporated. You should end up with a cookie dough consistency. If you feel that your batter is too liquid you can add more baking soda.
5. Sprinkle your scoop with glitter, colored salts, lavender buds, or some other embellishments and fill up your cookie scoop with the truffle mixture, press down firmly, then press to release your first truffle.
6. Let your Lavender Truffles dry for about 12-24 hours before packaging. They dry very hard and hold together well.
